Quantitative Electroencephalograph

Q32r Top_edited.webp

(qEEG) is a non-invasive and safe functional brain imaging scan, which is a diagnostic tool that measures electrical activity in the form of brain wave patterns (also known as brain mapping).

Brain waves are the rhythmic electrical impulses generated when the neurons in our brains communicate with each other. Brain waves can reveal important information about a person’s overall brain function, including things like stress levels, thought patterns, emotions, impulsivity, and many other symptoms. These brain waves are used to inform clinicians with better, more targeted treatment options by providing functional information on the underlying neurophysiology associated with symptoms of various disorders, as well as locating specific brainwave patterns that need to be normalized.

The qEEG Evaluation usually lasts for about 90 minutes. It requires the use of a cap with 19 sensors on it, which measures the electrical activity of the brain.  No electrical activity is put into the brain.
